I am honored to invite you to join me, Susan J. Squittieri, founder of Two Bear Healing Arts, for this profound and sacred level of training. Reiki Master Level, or Shinpiden (The Mystery Teachings), is for those who feel called to fully commit to the Reiki way of life and deepen their personal transformation.
This level is not just about a title; it is about becoming a “Master” of your own energy. You will receive the Master Symbol, learn advanced healing techniques, and explore the spiritual depths of the Usui system.
Class Logistics
Availability: Classes are hosted bi-monthly (January, March, May, July, September, and November).
Prerequisites: Completion of Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 (Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage). New students: Please bring copies of your previous certificates and manuals.

Important Reminders
To ensure a high-quality, intimate experience for every student, please keep these key terms in mind:
Payment: Pay in full today or submit a 50% non-refundable deposit. Remaining balances are due on the day of class.
Cancellations: Transfers are available with 10+ days’ notice. Less than 10 days’ notice is non-transferable unless the spot can be filled.
No-Shows: Failure to attend without notification results in a forfeited payment.
Weather: If I cancel due to weather, you receive a full refund or a guaranteed seat in a future session.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long should I wait after Level 2 before taking the Master Level? The transition to Shinpiden is a deeply personal choice. While some feel ready after 6 months, I generally recommend waiting 9 months or more until your Level 2 practice has become “second nature” and you feel a genuine inner pull to deepen your spiritual commitment.
Does this class include “Master Teacher” training? This level focuses on the Master Practitioner training and symbols. If you are interested in the Teacher apprenticeship (learning to give attunements and teach others), please reach out to me for a separate conversation about that path.
How do I know if I’m “ready” for the Master level? If you find yourself consistently using Reiki in your daily life and feel a “pull” toward a deeper spiritual connection, you are likely ready. There is no need to be “perfect”—only to have a sincere heart.
Are class materials provided? Yes, your registration includes a Master Level manual, your Third Degree/Master certificate, and instruction on the Master Symbol.
Can I bring a friend or a child? Due to the spiritual intensity of Shinpiden, this class is reserved for registered practitioners who meet all prerequisites. I generally recommend this level for adults (18+).
When will I receive the exact location? The location is always available in the website footer, on the Contact page map, and the Event page venue section. Additionally, specific preparation details will be displayed on the Thank You! Registration Confirmed page immediately after you register. Please bookmark or print.
